In a bankruptcy, a married person must include both their income and their spouse's income, even if the spouse is not a debtor. The adjustments for a non-filing spouse is made under the "marital adjustment" on Lines 13 and 19 of the petition. In addition, if there are other "income-earners" in the household, these contributions must be included on Line 7. This typically includes if a dependent gets Social Security.
